MakatronArt

Makatron’s works on walls and canvas show hidden faces peering from beneath tangled, futuristic structures and a series of otherworldly, enhanced animals: technologically restructured rhinos, chimps and more. Having created works for the Rainbow Serpent Festival, adorned walls in Bridge road, and with pieces displayed as far as Adelaide, Cape Town, Berlin and at the River Ganges, Makatron’s larger-than-life creations re-imagine the way we look at the natural world. The interface between man, beast and machine is always at his artistic forefront. He’s exhibited extensively in Australia as well as group shows in Brazil, Japan, New York and Sao Paulo, and has works in private and public collections locally and abroad. We can’t wait to see what he’ll do at The PM, and as part of our painting alley program. See his work on his website.
