Visual artist Jacob Rolfe explores beauty and taboo with his dark, metaphoric creations. Lucky for us, he’s bringing these gothic explorations to The PM, pieces which are sometimes satanic and reminiscent of the medieval.
According to the artist he offers a critical analysis of self and society through a kaleidoscope of symbols and intense scenarios, attempting to offer an underlying truth and fragility in pieces of eccentric fantasy. His works are both small and large scale, with a range of mediums including watercolour, acrylic paint, ink and aerosol. He’ll be exhibiting in our space in December. Exciting stuff.
