Ghostpatrol’s charming illustrations with a cast of cartoonish characters and colourful collage have appeared in galleries and on public walls Australia wide, and will be The PM’s feature artist for December.
He uses the whimsical aesthetic of fantasy to explore themes of space exploration, the huge scale of the universe and the possibilities of the future, and has had his work displayed by Backwoods Gallery, Hugo Mitchell Gallery and Black Arts Projects. His pieces have also appeared in Frankie Magazine and acquired for the National Gallery of Australia.
We love the layering of his works: creations that are adorable and unnerving at the same time. We’re pretty proud to name him as our first COMA feature artist, as well as a participant in our Painting Alley program.
For The PM Ghostpatrol will collaborate with Tristan Jalleh. Tristan’s art deals with the crossover between fictional and real world stories with a deft, unnerving artistic hand. Their collaboration is part of an ongoing work outside of their normal practice. Head down and get acquainted with Ghostpatrol and Tristan Jalleh‘s work.
